The SRTF Delivers Orthopedic Implants and Devices to Hospitals in Aleppo, Hama and Idleb Governorates
Turkey – Friday, 7 October 2016 – The SRTF Management Unit today delivered orthopedic implants and devices for hospitals in Aleppo, Hama and Idleb governorates. The delivery took place at a zero point on the Turkish-Syrian borders in coordination with the Turkish authorities.
The delivered materials belong to three SRTF interventions, the “Supply of Orthopedic Implants and Devices to Three Hospitals in Aleppo Governorate” project, the “Supply of Orthopedic Implants and Devices to a Hospital in Hama Governorate” project and the “Supply of Orthopedic Implants and Devices to Two Hospitals in Idleb Governorate” project.
The three interventions aim to provide adequate health care for some 2.1 million indirect beneficiaries in opposition-controlled areas of the three governorates by enabling the selected hospitals to perform orthopedic surgeries, treatment and medication.
