The SRTF Delivers a Prefabricated Medical Unit to Aleppo

Turkey – Sunday, 6 November 2016 – The SRTF Management Unit delivered a prefabricated medical unit to Aleppo Governorate today. Installed upon arrival to destination, the unit is meeting the emergency needs of the target community. The delivery took place at a zero point on the Turkish-Syrian border in coordination with the Turkish authorities.
The delivery of this unit is part of the SRTF’s “Filling the Void” project, which seeks to ensure a rapid response to the urgent needs of the Syrian people in liberated areas where vital services are missing. Under this project a large number of activities are underway in various sectors, including emergency health care, food supplies, water and sanitation, electricity generation and network repairs, solid waste management and education.
