The SRTF Delivers Oil Barrels for Transformers and Laptops to support Rehabilitation of an Electricity Grid in Aleppo Governorate

Gaziantep – Saturday, 23 May 2015 – The SRTF Management Unit procured and delivered 24 barrels of oil for transformers and two laptops to the implementing entity (IE) responsible for the SRTF project for Rehabilitation and Expansion of an Electricity Grid in a Town in the Governorate of Aleppo today. The delivery took place at a “Zero Point” on the Turkish-Syrian border.

The aforementioned oil barrels are for subsidizing the initial period of the project, which is until the IE has set up a consumer tariff system. The two laptops are provided in support of the implementing entity offices. The beneficiaries of this project are 5,000 households of the township and surrounding villages connected to the grid.
