The Syria Recovery Trust Fund Delivers Medical Equipment and A Power Generator to the Northern Countryside of Aleppo

Türkiye - Wednesday, 23rd October 2019 – As part of its efforts to support health services in the northern countryside of Aleppo, the SRTF announced today handing over an orthopedic surgery table and an electric power generator to the implementing entity (IE) of its project:  "Supporting Health Services in the North Aleppo Countryside" The equipment will be installed in a hospital supported under this project.

This project aims to strengthen primary healthcare services in the northern countryside of Aleppo by rehabilitating three hospitals and a number of health centers in addition to providing ambulances in order to provide them with various medical equipment and consumables.

With a total budget of EUR 3.4 million, the project will rehabilitate the health infrastructure of designated hospitals and is expected to benefit approximately 80,000 patients directly and more than 400,000 people indirectly from the northern Aleppo countryside.
