The SRTF Delivers Electrical & Maintenance Equipment to its Project in Northern Aleppo

Türkiye  – Monday, 2^nd March 2020 - The SRTF announced a new delivery consisting of distribution transformers, generators, MV conductors & cables and MV insulators under its project: “Rehabilitation of the Medium and Low Voltage Grid in Selected Urban, Sub-urban and Rural Communities in a Northern District in Aleppo”.

The electrical equipment is part of necessary inputs delivered under this project to support the IE in the rehabilitation process of the medium and low voltage grid and transformer substations in the targeted location and introduce improvements in the grid to mitigate some of the problems including transformers overload  . The project will also target the reduction of power losses and weaknesses, due to deteriorating network of the distribution system especially, the low voltage networks.

Worth a total budget of EUR 1.6 million, the project is expected to directly benefit 50,000 people residing in the targeted areas.
