The SRTF Delivers Pickup Vehicles to the Northern Countryside of Aleppo Governorate.

Türkiye – Saturday, April 18^th 2020 –The SRTF announced the delivery of four pickup trucks to the implementing entity (IE) of its project: "Reestablishing Seed Production and Multiplication Programmes in Aleppo, Idleb, and Hama Governorates” today which come as part of its efforts to enhance the IE’s operational capacity by supplying them with various agricultural inputs and equipment.

The delivery was made to approved locations in northern Aleppo, the delivered pickup will support activities such as transporting seeds, fertilizers, agricultural equipment, and other basic agricultural inputs from the IE’s warehouses to farming lands used for seed multiplication and vice versa.

With a total value of about EUR 3.3 million, this project aims to address the shortage of equipment to provide logistical support for seed multiplication and increase grain production in general and is expected to directly benefit about 225,000 people in the targeted areas. It will also improve living conditions in the entire targeted areas through the availability of food, especially bread and legumes.
