Second Installment of Livestock Vaccines Delivered to Northern Aleppo

Türkiye – Wednesday, 26^th August 2020 – The SRTF announced today that the second installment of livestock vaccines was delivered in Northern Aleppo. This delivery is part of the ongoing activities under the SRTF-funded project, “Supporting the Recovery of Livestock Production in Northern Aleppo Governorate”.

These vaccines come two months after a previous delivery of livestock vaccines. This delivery includes vaccines against clostridial diseases (Enterotoxameia) and Brucella. These vaccines are part of a campaign that aims to build and strengthen herd immunity and improve overall food security.

This project costs around EUR 3.7 million and is expected to impact 20,300 livestock owners and their families. Additionally, the surrounding community, approximately 120,000 people, will benefit from boosted economic conditions and food security.
