The SRTF Delivers Two Pickup Vehicles to Northern Aleppo Governorate

Türkiye – Sunday, November 28, 2021– As part of the SRTF phase-five food security project activities, two pickup trucks were delivered to the implementing entity (IE) in northern Aleppo today under project: “Complementary Project for Enhancing Food Security in the North of Aleppo Governorate- Phase V”. The procured pickup trucks will be used for bread distribution.

The multi-phased project aims to replenish the supply of soft wheat and procure additional bakery equipment to secure bread availability at affordable prices for the targeted communities.

With a budget of EUR 7.8 million, this project will positively impact an estimated 375,000 beneficiaries per day for eight months who will benefit from increased availability of affordable bread.
