Japan Supports the SRTF with Another Generous Contribution of EUR 3 Million
Damascus – 28 March 2025 – The SRTF is delighted to announce Japan’s new contribution of EUR 3 million. This marks Japan’s ninth contribution since the Fund’s inception, bringing its total contributions to approximately EUR 56.36 million. With this latest addition, the total contributions from all 12 donors now stand at an impressive EUR 372.73 million.
This support will help boost the Fund in its future expansion efforts across multiple sectors in Syria, aiding Syrians in recovering and sustaining their households following the fall of the tyrannic Regime.
The Charge d'Affaires and Special Coordinator for Syria, Mr. Akihiro Tsuji expressed his satisfaction with the work of the SRTF: “We are proud to continue our support for the SRTF, reaffirming Japan’s commitment to delivering essential assistance to the Syrian people. This latest contribution reflects our confidence in the Fund’s impactful work and arrives at a pivotal moment as Syria enters a new phase of recovery. We remain steadfast in our dedication to fostering stability, resilience, and hope for a brighter future for the people of Syria.”
